Season Terms | Frost Guard Snow Care

Most snow removal companies in the GTA start clearing at 5 cm. We start at 4 cm — and we salt from 2 cm.

Season coverage

November 15 to April 15, or from the first significant snowfall through the last, whichever period is longer.

What triggers a visit

4 cm or more — full clearing Your property is cleared automatically. You don't need to call, text or request service. We watch the forecast and dispatch on accumulation.

2 cm to 4 cm — salting Lighter snowfalls are salted automatically, so your driveway and walkway stay safe without waiting for a full clearing.

Snow removal from vehicles parked in the driveway

What "unlimited" means

Unlimited qualifying snowfall events for the full season at no extra per-visit charge. However many times it snows above the trigger, you're covered — a heavy winter costs you nothing more than a mild one.

Response time

Properties are cleared within 45 to 60 minutes of a qualifying snowfall ending, weather and road conditions permitting.

Snow hauling or removal from the property
Roof or gutter snow and ice removal
Clearing requested below the 2 cm trigger — available on request for a reduced add-on fee

Major storm surcharge Snowfalls over 20 cm may need a second same-day visit or extra equipment. A surcharge of $30 may apply, and it will always be agreed with you before service — never added afterwards.

Payment

Full season fee due at signup, or split into two payments — 50% at signup and 50% by January 1.
